Chris Sutton

Chris’ extensive martial arts training as well as his law enforcement experience dealing with real criminals as a former street cop, sheriff and maximum security prison guard have given him highly unique insights into the reality of self-defense. Chris has used this expertise to create the acclaimed C.O.B.R.A.™ reality-based self-defense system, as well as influencing his other martial arts programs, fitness programs & books.

After many years in the Asian martial arts Chris earned an additional black belt under World Champion kick boxer Jim Graden. Further study with the legendary champion Joe Lewis in the Elite Kickboxing System earned him another black belt.

Chris Sutton is also the author of The Psychology Of Self-Defense and four other books, a full time owner and operator of a 400 student martial arts school, certified A.C.M.A Martial Arts Instructor, MATA Instructor Of The Year and a life-time professional martial artist with over 20 years of training and teaching experience.
